Scholarship Application
The Harold L. Klarreich Scholarship Foundation was created to encourage and aid the study of real estate. Its namesake, the late Harold L. Klarreich, had a long-standing interest in real estate education, serving the Cleveland Area Board of REALTORS® as an Instructor and Board President.
If you wish to apply for this scholarship, please print this page and read and fill out the application below.
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION: Professional Program Application
CRITERIA:
- Applicant must be a member of the Cleveland Area Board of REALTORS® in good standing for at least two (2) years.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are active on a CABOR Committee and/or demonstrate Board involvement.
- The decision of the Scholarship Trustees shall be based upon the applicant meeting the established criteria. If the Trustees deem necessary, applicants may be interviewed.
- The Scholarship is available for the final class necessary to achieve the designation sought. Reimbursement shall be in the amount equal to the tuition of the class but shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500). Additional costs incurred by the applicant for late registration fees will NOT be included in the award.
- Scholarships are available only toward courses that are required for a professional designation recognized by the National Association of REALTORS®. A list of those designations and course requirements are available through the Cleveland Area Board of REALTORS®.
- Receipt of payment is required to accompany the application.
- Proof of the earned designation.
PROCEDURES TO APPLY
- Complete the application and forward to: The Harold L. Klarreich Scholarship Foundation, c/o the Cleveland Area Board of REALTORS®, at 5633 Brecksville Road Independence, Ohio 44131
- Submit receipt that indicates amount paid for the class. Additional fee paid for late registrations will NOT be reimbursed by the Foundation.
- Apply at the time of class registration. Certificate of proof that the designation has been attained should be forwarded once received from the appropriate council.
