Affiliate Membership
The Cleveland Area Board of REALTORS® is the trade association for all real estate professionals in northeast Ohio. With more than 3,400 members, CABOR serves REALTORS® as well as others in real estate related industries, such as title agents, mortgage lenders, architects, engineers, appraisers, attorneys, accountants and a host of other professionals otherwise known as CABOR Affiliate members.
Affiliate members are kept informed of up-to-date real estate information through email updates and monthly magazines. CABOR Affiliate members also enjoy the following benefits:
- Listings in the Service Provider Directory for REALTORS® reference.
- Opportunities to exhibit at the Annual Cleveland Real Estate Convention, which attracts more than 300 REALTORS® each year.
- Unlimited networking opportunities with Commercial and Residential REALTORS® at membership meetings, CABOR committees, and other special events.
- The opportunity to participate in the CABOR Edge Membership Deals & Discounts program.
- A strong voice in government through CABOR's lobbying efforts.
Who is eligible for Affiliate membership?
Real estate owners and other individuals or firms who, while not engaged in the real estate profession, have interests requiring information concerning real estate, and are in sympathy with the objectives of the Board. Affiliate membership stays with the company, not the individual.

Networking Opportunities
Affiliates Council
The purpose of the Affiliate Council is to provide Affiliate members of CABOR (mortgage lenders, title agents, home inspectors, etc.) information on up-to-date real estate practices as well as networking opportunities within the real estate industry. Affiliates also have the opportunity to influence actions of the Board through participation as the elected Affiliate representative who serves on the Board of Directors. Affiliate Council members are some of the most active and seen CABOR members. They gain great exposure for their business through active participation in the association.

Direct Mail Advertising
CABOR Affiliate Members can take advantage of a unique program to market their services to nearly 3,200 REALTORS® through high-impact direct mail. Affiliate Members can enhance their marketing campaigns by purchasing a set of mailing labels at a cost of $500 for the full membership or 15 cents per label for a customized list (specific zip codes for example). Offer a Discount
CABOR Affiiliate Members can apply to offer a discount to all CABOR Members and their families through the CABOR Edge Membership Deals & Discounts program. There is no cost to this marketing program other than the discounts extended. Applications are considered monthly by the CABOR Membership Committee. Charity Work
The CABOR Affiliates Council has long prided themselves on the work they do annually to raise funds for CABOR charities. Working along side with the charity chosen each year by the current CABOR Chairman of the Board, Affiliate members have devised many events and opportunities to help raise funds. For the past few years, the Affiliates Council has raised thousands of dollars for the Children's Miracle Network.
